How I learned about the color Pink

This is my personal journey. My journey from being a healthy happy young mother of one to being breast cancer victim, patient, survivor and then warrior. My journey from believing that pink was a "girlie" color to knowing it is a color of strength and hope. Hello, grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair.....welcome to my world.

The most amazing thing happened the other day...

A doctor took an egg out of me and fertilized it with my husband's sperm. Within 24 hours we got a call that it "took" and was continuing to grow! Another 24 hours went by and we actually got to see a picture of it and watch as that same doctor put our little embryo into a very wonderful woman, Kari.

Kari has got to be one of the most selfless, unselfish, wonderful women I know. She offered us her body to be used to carry our child for 9 months. Then SHE will go through the labor pains and delivery and WE will have a much awaited new addition to our family. During these first few months of the pregnancy she will have to give herself (or her husband or I will have to give it to her:-) HUGE UGLY shots to keep her body prepared for the pregnancy. Does she complain about it? Never, not once!! I just thank God for her every morning and every night (and every time I think about it again).

Let me tell you a little story about what brought us to this point...
